I took a piece of orange card stock and dabbed a brown distress stain all over it. I used a piece of burlap that was leftover from a previous project that was also dabbed with various distress stain colors and on top of them are little pictures from a Tim Holtz seasonal paper book. "Family Time" was also from that same book. The center is made of a brown piece of card stock in the back held down by brads that look like screws!! The center picture is also from the same Tim Holtz seasonal book and I cut it with jagged looking scissors to made it looked like it was ripped out of a page. I hope you liked it! EXCELSIOR!!!!!

Thanksgiving card challenge!
Hello Everybody! This is the first thanksgiving card I have ever made. It was pretty fun to do. I tried putting a lot of things on it like wires, gears, and other metal parts.

Birthday card for a friend!
Hello again everybody! This is a birthday card for a friend of mine from church! The stuff on it was random and me just experimenting. The mat is called "The Great Rock Island Route", I stamped a spoon, perfume bottle and a border (which may be hard to see in the picture), the letters up close look like I punched then out of a newspaper (not sure what that paper was called), the cricut cut was from "Elegant Edges", the butterfly and the card on the left hand corner were stickers from a Tim Holtz sticker book, a piece of watch jewelry and a piece of chain. Now the blue border on the left is a little significant in the fact I used a new distress stain I just got and it was cut out of special scissors from Provocraft. The other thing that is newer for me are the gears. I got alcohol ink and painted them on these metal gears to make them colorful. I hope you like the card, it was fun to make it!!
Forgiveness Is Key!!
Hello Everybody! I didn't do much anything out if the ordinary with this card! I just wanted to make a card out of love for my lord and savior Jesus Christ. I took one of my favorite concept arts from Thomas Blackshear of Jesus forgiving the man holding the hammer and the nail. I cut out the picture using these special scissors from Provocraft. I laid everything on cork board paper. That candle was something I cut out of a Halloween paper and its laid upon a piece of burlap (I like the way that material looks), a piece of jewelry that looks like a clock and some chain I found in the garage. There are two pieces of paper I used the distress stain on "Forgiveness and that piece of scripture from 2 Corinthians 5:17. Above it says "Forgiveness is" and I laid a key there. So the card means "Forgiveness is Key"! I hope you enjoy looking at the card! ;-)

In home challenge 1
Sometimes I'll go to my Mothers house and she'll pick out a few things at random and i'll piece them together. I was going for a Vintage Travel look. The mat is from the "M. Weiland Printery Collection" and I used Tim Holtz distress stain all over it, the guy is from Cricut Imagine, I used a strip of burlap and painted with more distress stain, I also used Tim Holtz idea-ology stickers and I doctored them up a little, I painted the cricut man and oval with "vintage photo" distress stain, and I also used a stamp from "Prima Marketing"! I hope you liked it!
Homemade Birthday Card for my wife!
I used a mat from "Butterfly Garden Collection", the picture is part of a sheet from the "Paper Studio", the red ink outline of card and ink used on letters was a Tim Holtz distress ink, the red border materials were stickers from Prima Marketing, (I don't own a Cricut and I get the cricut cuts from my Mother) I think the cricut cut was called flower garden! I hope you liked it! ;-)

Anything Goes Challenge
Hello Everybody,
I'm from Indiana. I just recently starting making cards. My mother got me into it as a way to relax (Susan Pollock from itsmesusanp.blogspot.com). I enjoy experimenting with the cards making them into a fantasy world that mean nothing and everything at the same time.
I'm entering this card into CardzTV Cricut Cardz Challenge "Anything Goes"
This is one of the first few cards I've made. I embossed that mat with gears embossing folder, used distress stain of blue and green all over, used gears, wings, keys. I also painted the gears and painted the key to make it look rusty. Also, used some parts from the garage and added them.
Thanks for coming by to look at my card.
